TriQuint maintains a strong emphasis on quality & reliability. Because gallium arsenide (GaAs) technology will always be "new" relative to mainstream silicon, TriQuint has oriented its Quality and Reliability Group toward establishing systems that provide information for proactive corrective and preventive improvements. These Quality Systems are described in the TriQuint Quality Manual (request a copy).

Implementation of quality systems has allowed TriQuint to become registered to ISO 9001:2000. Some of the differences between gallium arsenide and silicon devices lead to specific advantages for the TriQuint technology - especially in terms of reliability. TriQuint has published articles on this and related subjects which are available below.
